BetterBilt Solutions to donate to Harvey relief

STAUNTON, Va. — BetterBilt Solutions, manufacturers of Mount-n-Lock brand RV cargo accessories, has announced a Hurricane Harvey relief initiative.

The Virginia-based manufacturer will donate 10 percent of September online net sales to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts with monies going to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR) in support of its Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

“The images coming out of Texas in the wake of Hurricane Harvey are heart-wrenching,” said Ralph Kirtland, president of BetterBilt Solutions. “Texas has always been good to us at Mount-n-Lock, accounting for a significant portion of our sales and being home to many of our earliest and most devoted customers, so we wanted to reciprocate during this time of need.”

He added, “It is for this reason that we have decided to donate 10 percent of our online product sales during the month of September to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. We know that this is a small amount compared to the overall need, but it is our belief that our contribution, combined with the donations of so many others, will help those in need.”

To determine the donation, on or about October 30, BetterBilt Solutions will calculate the total of its online product sales (from Amazon.com and www.mount-n-lock.com) during the month of September, subtract out any refunds for 30-day returns, and send a payment representing 10 percent of the result to the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR) in support of their Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
