ASA adds CAD designer to engineering team

ELKHART, Ind. — ASA Electronics has added Nic Kesterke to their engineering department. As their newest CAD Designer, Kesterke will be responsible for 3D modeling, 2D product drawings, rapid prototyping as well as assisting with product development projects.

“Nic has a solid background in electro-mechanical assembly design as well as thorough training and knowledge of SolidWorks,” stated Jerry Maffetone, ASA’s vice president of engineering. “We are confident that Nic will be a key contributor to our expanding product development team and will thrive in our fast paced environment.”

Previously, Kesterke worked at Stonegate Designs in St. Joseph, Mich., as a design engineer where he was responsible for custom lighting for residential and commercial applications. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Drafting and Design from Southwestern Michigan College where he also attended multiple seminars for SolidWorks training, a software that will be highly utilized in his new position.
