Airstream starts construction on $40 million expansion

DAYTON, Ohio — Airstream Inc. has kicked off a $40 million construction project to expand its plant and consolidate assembly under one roof.

The manufacturer’s plant in Jackson Center makes iconic “silver bullet” travel trailers with a loyal fanbase around the country.

JobsOhio, the state’s private development arm, congratulated Airstream on the kickoff.

“Another chapter in Airstream Inc’s story began today as the company broke ground on their plant expansion,” JobsOhio said Friday afternoon.
