RV One Superstores opens 7th location

SARASOTA, Fla. — RV One Superstores has reached an agreement to open in Sarasota, Florida on US 41 later this year. It will be the company’s seventh location.

By the end of 2018, RV One Superstores will have opened five new facilities. This includes Des Moines, Iowa, which opened this spring; a new Tampa mega store set to open Nov 16; an Airstream standalone store also opening in November; and a new Orlando location opening in December.

RV One Superstores also reports that revenue is up 10 percent and that it is expecting to reach $450 million in volume by year end.

“While there has been significant discussion in our industry about a ‘softening,’ retail traffic just refuses to agree,” reported a press release from RV One Superstores.

“The softening some people are feeling is as a result of a massive increase in wholesale shipments untempered and unmatched to retail registrations in the last 12 – 18 months. As an industry we can’t just build more and more and more and think the market won’t feel “soft,” the release continued.

RV One Superstores’ press release continued, “As retailers it is important we continue to monitor inventory levels on a daily basis and control the flow that comes into our stores. While softening may be seen on the wholesale side sophisticated retailers in our business remain strong. We simply won’t see a 2008 or 2009 again if dealers remain ‘cautiously optimistic.'”

RV One Superstores was recently named Jayco’s Largest Dealer in the World for the second year in a row. “Our relationship with Jayco is tremendous as their leadership understands and focuses on retail. They see the dealer inventory as their own and work hard to ensure success not just on month end shipments, but also retail registrations,” the press release stated.

“Partnerships between great manufacturers and retailers is critical to the continued success of our industry,” the release concluded.

RV One Superstores projects 2019 as the first year RV One surpasses $500 million in revenue in 12 months. “What’s unique about RV One reaching this milestone is we have not done so through rapid acquisition but through fundamentals within our industry such as retention of exceptional staff, significant investment in facilities and personal professional customer service,” the release stated.

“We could not be more excited about the future of our business and the industry,” the release concluded.

  1. Bought our Jayco 5er online from RVOne.com. Took delivery at Buffalo RV who did an excellent prep job. Couldn’t be happier with delivery and follow-up warranty repair. Love Jayco and RVOne!
