Michigan state parks replaces stickers with park passports

(April 5, 2010) -- The legislation, known as the state's Recreation Passport, allows motorists to "opt in" to support Michigan state parks, state forest campgrounds and local parks by agreeing to pay an additional $10 when renewing their license plates through the Secretary of State. Additional camping fees would remain in place.

Tragic accident claims boy at Disney campground

(April 2, 2010) -- According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 9-year-old boy left the sidewalk, rode his bike into the road and struck the side of bus, which pulled him under and ran over him. The boy died at the scene, but his 11-year-old friend was uninjured.
