Washington State cracks down on RVers using Montana LLCs

For RV Education 101, training is fundamental

(June 18, 2010) -- It's funny how some of the smallest ideas turn into the biggest projects. Mark Polk was working as a sales manager for an RV dealership in North Carolina in the late 1990s. When people purchased a new RV, staff members would explain how every system worked and how every appliance operated -- two or three times, if necessary. As much as Polk and the rest of his staff loved helping customers and wanted them to be comfortable with their new purchase, he realized the walk-thru orientations were mind-numbing to new RV owners simply because it was information overload. So he hired a crew to film him doing a simple walk-thru, capturing close-ups as he pulled levers and pushed buttons -- and RV Education 101 was born.

RVer dies in explosion at Ontario campground

(June 17, 2010) -- The man was outside his camper, which had two propane tanks attached to it, at the time of the explosion. However, due to the heat of the flames, no one could get to him until after firefighters brought the fire under control, CBC News reported.

Settlement talks break down, sewer-free trial looms for Florida RV park

(June 16, 2010) -- According to the Keynoter, the lawsuit centers on whether it is legal to charge individual owners of the RV park the same sewer fees paid by people building residential homes. The RV park switched to a condominium form of ownership in 2004. The city wants to charge $5,700 per RV to connect to the sewer system.
