Virginia city okays RV parking restrictions

(Oct. 22, 2010) -- The Vienna ordinance allows RVs, trailers and other such equipment to be parked on streets for up to 24 hours in a six-month period if they are undergoing emergency repairs or actively are being loaded or unloaded. RVs can also be parked on the owner's property to avoid ticketing and towing, the Sun Gazette reported.

Texas woman sues RV park following dog attack

(Oct. 21, 2010) -- According to the suit filed Oct. 18, Morris was attacked on Aug. 19 by a dog owned by one of the occupants at Kountry Rentals RV Park. The suit does not give exact details of the incident but does allege Kountry Rentals had a duty to protect its residents from dangerous hazards, such as vicious dogs, the Southeast Texas Record reported.

Registered sex offender assaults 13-year-old at California RV park

(Oct. 19, 2010) -- The Yolo County Sheriff's Department arrested Jason Sigur, 35, at gunpoint Friday at a Dunnigan RV park after deputies located the victim inside his trailer a few hours after she was reported missing. "They opened the door, and this little girl came out and hugged the officer," said RV park manager Karene Harris.

RV stunt doesn’t go well in Charlotte, N.C.

(Oct. 18, 2010) -- At Charlotte Motor Speedway, a stunt driver in an RV pretended to go on a joy ride as he was being chased by a police car. Both vehicles drove up a ramp as explosions went off and they landed in a field of wrecked cars.
