Police search Virginia area campgrounds for missing 12 year old

(Dec. 10, 2010) -- Law enforcement sources told WSLS that local, state, and federal officers are searching both campgrounds and rest areas on a daily basis since the revelation that Easley bought a tent at the Salem Walmart last week with Tina Smith's credit card. Investigators said the searches include closed campgrounds along the Blue Ridge Parkway to see if anyone snuck in.

(Dec. 10, 2010) -- RV manufacturers announced several recalls to replace wheels on certain 2011 models that could be defective, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported. Due to improper assembly, the wheels could break and increase the chance of a crash in some situations, the agency noted.

RVer charged with killing protected bird at Arizona RV park

(Dec. 9, 2010) --Witnesses said Jess, a resident of RiverView RV Park, drove a golf cart alongside a pond where the bird was feeding on fish. He then allegedly walked up to the bird and swung a golf club, hitting the bird in the neck. The heron then collapsed and Jess then struck the bird several more times, the Mohave Daily News reported.
