Gas prices not affecting campers in Myrtle Beach

(April 26, 2010) -- Ocean Lakes Family Campground is expecting a strong year despite a weak first quarter due to cold weather, Marketing Manager Barb Krumm told the Sun News. Advanced reservations for May through July are already up 1 percent above 2009 levels, she said. The campground, which also sells RVs, has sold 12 this month, up from four in April 2009.
