WY: In-town camping options expand

(April 19, 2017) -- Just as the Jackson Town Council began to review a proposal for a municipal campground in the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center’s parking lot, Kody Wojtasiak stepped forward and provided another option.

JACKSON, Wyo. — Just as the Jackson Town Council began to review a proposal for a municipal campground in the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center’s parking lot, Kody Wojtasiak stepped forward and provided another option.

“I have been trying to figure out some sort of camping or short-term housing solution for our crisis here in Jackson for years,” Wojtasiak said. “We need another campground or short-term housing like those at the Virginian, just not as big, not as bulky.”

  1. We travelled 16000 miles from Va to Alaska and back last summer and camping at Jackson Hole was the most expensive night of the trip . Over twice the price of any other. Now they want to increase it…what a ripoff!!
