HINTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Record reports that a woman is suing after she allegedly fell down a staircase in a rental cabin at Berry’s Campground in Hinton.

Kathi Sherill says that on July 5, 2011, she rented a cabin at the campground and alleges that the stairway did not have a handrail. She says that as she was walking down the stairs, she lost her balance and fell, injuring her knee and shoulder.

The West Virginia Record says Sherill is seeking damages to fully compensate her for her injuries and other damages, plus costs.
