Winchester Bay, Ore., center will benefit RV resort and community

(Dec. 16, 2010) -- The Marina Activity Center is being built to expand business during winter months, and create additional revenue for both the Winchester Bay RV Resort and the business community in Winchester Bay, Ore.

WINCHESTER BAY, Ore. — The Umpqua Post reports the Marina Activity Center is a scaled-down version of the much larger Community Recreation Pavilion/Welcome Center that Harbor Mastor Jeff Vander Key originally had in mind. The Umpqua Post says the MAC is being built to expand business during winter months, and create additional revenue for both the Winchester Bay RV Resort and the business community.
