Wildfire burning near Buckeye Campground

(Aug. 13, 2015) -- The "Eagle 2" fire is about 75 -100 acres and is currently burning understory pine near the Buckeye Campground.

RENO, Nev. — A U.S. Forest Service representative told KTVN fire crews are currently working a wildfire north of Twin Lakes, Calif., in Mono County.

The “Eagle 2” fire is about 75 -100 acres and is currently burning understory pine near the Buckeye Campground, KTVN reported.

Officials told KTVN the Buckeye Campground has been evacuated and the road leading to the campground has also been closed.
