WI: Torch Lake RV Park nearing completion

(Aug. 9, 2017) -- The Vilas County Forestry, Recreation and Land Committee heard another Torch Lake RV Park Campground update at its Wednesday meeting.

MINOCQUA, Wis. — The Vilas County Forestry, Recreation and Land Committee heard another Torch Lake RV Park Campground update at its Wednesday meeting.

In the most recent update, parks and recreation administrator Dale Mayo informed the committee the campground now has electric, water and WiFi.

“There’s still a lot of small things, we need to build our self-registration station out there … an alarm needs to be put on the septic tank. But everything’s on schedule, open Aug. 23,” Mayo stated.
