WA: Glamping in the midst of Tahuya State Forest

(Oct. 12, 2017) -- Tahuya Adventure Resort has something to offer any type of camper — RV sites and tent sites are available for more traditional campers, but the siblings have built two luxury glamping-style tented cabins that offer heat, roomy space and comfort tucked away in the woods.

BREMERTON, Wash. — For sisters Lynette Raden, Karen Giguere and Amy Cromer, retirement is overrated.

The sisters (who are three out of nine siblings) and Cromer’s husband, David, keep themselves busy post-retirement at the new Tahuya Adventure Resort, a 40-acre destination camping site in the middle of the lush Tahuya State Forest.
