(March 14, 2018) -- With the campground restroom renovation project at Washington Park nearly complete, the City of Anacortes has begun to focus on the future of the boat launch.

WA: City looks forward to Washington Park improvements

ANACORTES, Wash. — With the campground restroom renovation project at Washington Park nearly complete, the City of Anacortes has begun to focus on the future of the boat launch.

The men’s side of the campground restrooms are on track to reopen in May, said Washington Park Manager Bob Vaux.

The women’s side re-opened last season with new sinks, showers and features to improve guest experience and safety, such as locking shower doors, and the men’s side will have similar amenities, he said.
