W.Va.: Funding secured for Baker’s Run Campground

(June 22, 2018) -- Senator Joe Manchin says the Senate Committee on Appropriations has secured funding for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Huntington District's campgrounds, including Baker's Run Campground in Braxton County.

SUTTON, W.Va. — Senator Joe Manchin says the Senate Committee on Appropriations has secured funding for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Huntington District’s campgrounds, including Baker’s Run Campground in Braxton County.

The future of the campground had seemed uncertain, as the district faced funding cuts based on the Fiscal Year 2019 Budget proposal.
