W.V.: Council votes on Riverfront Park campsite proposal

(April 20, 2017) -- Moundsville city council is already planning ahead as they wait for the announcement of the multi-billion dollar ethane cracker plant across the river in Belmont County.

MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — Moundsville city council is already planning ahead as they wait for the announcement of the multi-billion dollar ethane cracker plant across the river in Belmont County.

City council is hoping to bring more housing to the area in the form of a campsite. City council approved the matter Tuesday night.

They now hope to turn a field at Riverfront Park into a campsite.
