WIRTZ, Va. — The owner of a marina hopes to bring a luxury campground to Union Hall.

But the project has raised some eyebrows in the neighborhood.

Southlake Motorsports & Marine is seeking a special use permit to allow the construction of a luxury recreational vehicle campground and cabins on 14 acres on Old Salem School Road in Union Hall. The site currently is zoned A-1 agricultural district and B-2 business district, general.
