CROWLEY, Texas — TXAD Internet has launched four more mobile friendly websites this month on behalf of campgrounds and RV parks in New York, Arizona, Texas and Washington.
One of the parks is Harmony Lakeside RV Park in Silver Creek, Wash., which is off the beaten path some 20 miles east of Interstate 5, the major north-south interstate that runs from Mexico to the Canadian border.
“We’re a destination park in the middle of the boondocks,” said park owner Ron Hinkley. “So we don’t have much transient business off season. Most of our business is in the summer.”
But with a new mobile friendly website at www.harmonylakesidervpark.com that features rotating videos on the homepage with scenes of boating, fishing and a beautiful campfire, Hinkley is hoping to capture the attention of more RVers and direct them to his park.
“What I am trying to accomplish is to get more sales and more online reservations,” Hinkley said, adding that he is counting of TXAD Internet’s expertise to do just that. We want to get more destination campers.”
Hinkley, in fact, is already preparing for more business and has plans to add 12 cabins and 30 additional pull through campsites on property across the street from his park. He already has 80 RV sites, five camping cabins and seven park model RV rentals. He also has plans to add a swimming pool and a dog run.
Meanwhile, Mary Ramsey at the 100-site Sylvan Lake Beach Park in Hopewell Junction, N.Y. is happy with her mobile friendly website at www.dutchesscountycampground.com, which accurately reflects her park’s rustic, no frills feel.
“The website we formally had didn’t necessarily reflect who we were. But now we have a much cleaner, updated images. It’s much more organized and it reflects us as a brand more,” Ramsey said, adding that her park has been owned by her family since the early 1950s.
Todd Roles is also happy with his newly designed website for the 635-site Desert Shadows RV Resort in Phoenix which can be viewed at www.phoenixrvresorts.com.
“The difference now is it’s more mobile friendly,” Roles said. “It also works better with search engines.”
Roles said TXAD Internet has made changes to help the website show up higher in Internet searches, a service the company calls search engine optimization or SEO.
Spencer Fillmore, for his part, said he is happy with the new mobile friendly website TXAD Internet created for Majestic Oak Resort in Rockport, Texas. The website can be viewed at www.majesticoakresort.com.
