TX: Travel camp wins environmental award

(Aug. 10, 2017) -- The West Fort Hood Travel Camp offers the perfect get-away for your short or long-term stay or for storage of your recreational vehicles.

FORT HOOD, Tex. — The West Fort Hood Travel Camp offers the perfect get-away for your short or long-term stay or for storage of your recreational vehicles.

The RV park maintains an aesthetically pleasing natural feel, providing shade and maintaining habitat for birds.

The camp’s pads offers full hook-ups for 82 sites and 283 sites for dry storage, which have the potential for an environmental impact. But the staff stays vigilant in their efforts to provide services to their customers, while also leading as environmental stewards.
