TX: Deadly storm leads to a months long clean up

(March 13, 2018) -- What could be a months long cleanup effort after severe weather left a camper dead this weekend at a Lake O’ the Pines campground got underway Monday.

LAKE O’ THE PINES, Tex. — What could be a months long cleanup effort after severe weather left a camper dead this weekend at a Lake O’ the Pines campground got underway Monday.

The storm, which authorities said left a debris field so tremendous that it hampered initial searches and assessments, was blamed for the death of a Mont Belvieu woman, who died when a tree was blown onto the tent where she and her family were camping.
