TN: RVs may soon set up Danville Park

(Jan. 22, 2018) -- By summertime, RVs and travel trailers can set up at Danville Park overlooking Kentucky Lake, and campers who have pitched their tents around the park will have the amenity of a hot shower.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — By summertime, RVs and travel trailers can set up at Danville Park overlooking Kentucky Lake, and campers who have pitched their tents around the park will have the amenity of a hot shower.

As soon as the bitter cold and snow wanes a bit, work will begin on new projects in the 11 Phase plan to establish a Houston County park in the Danville community on the east bank of the Tennessee River.

“We’re trying to have all this done by summer,” said County Mayor George Clark. “That is our goal.”
