TN: Proposal for RV park recommended for denial

(Nov. 8, 2017) -- Darrel Jones is proposing to develop an approximately five-acre portion of a 33-acre site on Hixson Pike with a Recreational Vehicle Park with 60 campsites.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Darrel Jones is proposing to develop an approximately five-acre portion of a 33-acre site on Hixson Pike with a Recreational Vehicle Park with 60 campsites.

The Regional Planning Agency staff is recommending denial for the request.

  1. Really bad when ‘staff’ tells you what you can and cannot do with land you own. I’d give them single family housing, and make it section 8 housing which is always needed.
