TN: Historic waterfront Oakland Park campground sold

(Oct. 5, 2017) -- The historic Oakland Seashore Motel and Cottages, which has nearly 70 acres with a stunning view of the ocean, has been sold.

ROCKPORT, Tenn. — The historic Oakland Seashore Motel and Cottages, which has nearly 70 acres with a stunning view of the ocean, has been sold.

The property, located on Dearborn Lane off Route 1 in Rockport, has 11 cottages and a motel with 10 rooms.

  1. The location of this historic motel and cottages should probably be changed. I don’t think one would be able to see an ocean from the state of Tennessee. Perhaps this is The Oakland Seashore Motel and Cottages in Rockport, Maine.
