LAFOLLETTE, Tenn. — As 2017 came to the close Campbell County received a major award from the state. Campbell County received the 2017 County Success Story Award at the annual meeting of the County Services Association Conference. The award recognized the on going success of the Lonas Young Park Project. The county was submitted for consideration by county commissioners Dewayne Kitts and Rusty Orick. The next phase of the Lonas Young Park Project begins this year. It includes the instillation of a senior adult outdoor gym funded by grant money.
