(Dec. 6, 2018) -- Updated fees at the Spearfish City Campground and rec center will become effective Jan. 3, following the city council’s Monday approval of a fee resolution.

SPEARFISH, S.D. — Updated fees at the Spearfish City Campground and rec center will become effective Jan. 3, following the city council’s Monday approval of a fee resolution.

“These are a number of fee changes for the campground Rally rates, for all types, whether it be tent, non-hookup, or full hookup sites,” City Finance Officer Dave Dutton explained.

“It was found that we needed to adjust those rates, and we are switching them from a per-person rate to a per-site rate.
