MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Lakewood Camping Resort, named ‘Official Best Campground and RV Park in the Carolinas’ by OfficialBestOf.com, is the ultimate vacation destination for spring, whether you’re looking to escape the cold weather or to enjoy Lakewood’s Annual Easter Celebration April 9-22, a release from the campground stated.

The campground’s new interactive wristband technology allows guests to power up their “Play-n-Pay” wristbands at check-in, eliminating the need to carry cash or a credit cards. Conveniently located kiosks make it easy to power up the wristband with this technology that allows guests to pay for food, drinks, groceries, souvenirs and countless amenities, the release stated.

The all-new water park has a lazy river, interactive splash area and 530 feet of sliding fun showcasing three different slides to try out. Lakewood has been named to The Official Best of South Carolina list since 2012.
