(April 11, 2018) -- The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) announced that Burlingame, Charlestown Breachway, Fishermen's Memorial and George Washington Memorial State Campgrounds will be opening this weekend to coincide with the beginning of school vacation week.

R.I.: Camping season to kick off this weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Four state campgrounds will be open for the season starting this Friday.

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) announced that Burlingame, Charlestown Breachway, Fishermen’s Memorial and George Washington Memorial State Campgrounds will be opening this weekend to coincide with the beginning of school vacation week.
