Pullen Creek RV Park lease bid yields zero results

(March 15, 2016) -- Bids for the Pullen Creek RV park lease were opened on March 1 and yielded zero results. Borough manager Hahn said while the municipality had heard some interest, no bids had been submitted.

SKAGWAY, Alaska — Bids for the Pullen Creek RV park lease were opened on March 1 and yielded zero results.

Borough manager Hahn said while the municipality had heard some interest, no bids had been submitted.

Assembly members agreed to let Hahn negotiate with interested parties and suggested it be managed more like Garden City RV Park, which operates on a management agreement.

“Whatever we do, somebody has to be able to make a living,” Mayor Mark Schaefer said.
