Pelland Advertising designs NCA cover for fourth year

2014 NCA Buyers GuideHAYDENVILLE, Mass. — The newest NCA Buyer’s Guide mailed out to 1,129 members and advertisers Oct. 15 features a cover design created by Pelland Advertising, the company announced today.

The guide is a comprehensive source of information for the family camping industry, said CEO Peter Pelland. It was the 17th edition of the NCA Buyer’s Guide published by Executive Director David Tetrault, who also noted the publication reflects upon a wide range of advertisers.

“There were 219 companies from across the country and into Canada that took advantage of the Northeast Campground Association’s offer of a free listing in the publication. In addition, 61 of those companies chose to have display ads for the campground owners of the Northeast to see,” said Tetrault.

“VIP business members of the NCA, such as Natural Structures of Baker City, Ore., to family owned and operated Tornado Fire Starters of Monson, Mass., know the NCA Buyer’s Guide gets their contact information into the hands of dedicated campground owners and operators making the buying decisions,” he added. “Other companies, such as Theisen Vending of Golden Valley, Minn., and The Fry Wizard of Wallingford, Conn., take advantage of the advertising opportunity that the NCA provides, allowing them to introduce their products to the camping industry market.”

Pelland Advertising was pleased to have been selected to design the all-important front cover of the buyer’s guide for the fourth consecutive year. This year’s design was a collaboration involving Pelland Advertising CEO Peter Pelland and Graphic Designer Charles Davis.

“Some of our most challenging work involves projects where our goal is to generate new ideas and to consistently improve upon our earlier efforts,” said Pelland. “For 2014, we tied together a wide range of campground-related products and services in an eye-catching three-dimensional design. We hope that the first impression that the cover creates will make it more likely that recipients will open the guide, keep it on file, and reference it throughout the year.”
