PA: Tiny house resort under development

(Jan. 23, 2018) -- The former Ridge Run Campground in northeastern Lancaster County is undergoing a transformation into a resort of tiny houses, which are generally considered to be residential structures of less than 400 square feet.

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. — A campground near Elizabethtown is being made over into a tiny-house resort.

The former Ridge Run Campground in northeastern Lancaster County is undergoing a transformation into a resort of tiny houses, which are generally considered to be residential structures of less than 400 square feet.

Abby Hobson, who is developing Tiny Estates, plans to open this spring with a half-dozen tiny houses. Dozens more tiny homes, each with a different design, are planned for the former campground around a tiny lake, along with the typical amenities of a modern, private campground.
