PA: Raystown Lake boat launches, campgrounds closing

(Sept. 14, 2018) -- High water along Raystown Lake in Hungtindon County has forced the closure of several boat launches, nearby parking areas and some campgrounds, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said Thursday.

HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. — High water along Raystown Lake in Hungtindon County has forced the closure of several boat launches, nearby parking areas and some campgrounds, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said Thursday.

The recent heavy rains associated with Tropical Storm Gordon has resulted in the closing this weekend of the following boat launches: Snyder’s Run, Seven Points, Aitch Boat, James Creek, Tatman Run, Shy Beaver and Weaver Falls.
