PA: Park agency approves plans for Frontier Town

(Jan. 15 2018) -- A public campground with 91 sites including 33 that will accommodate horses will be built on the site of a long-abandoned theme park in the eastern Adirondacks.

NORTH HUDSON, N.Y. — A public campground with 91 sites including 33 that will accommodate horses will be built on the site of a long-abandoned theme park in the eastern Adirondacks.

The Adirondack Park Agency approved the plan for the Frontier Town campground and day-use area at its monthly meeting Thursday. The plan was submitted by the state Department of Environmental Conservation and the town of North Hudson.
