(July 12, 2018) -- About 108 acres of tranquil land in Lehighton has been in the Motter family for 30 years. They call it the 'Whippoorwill Woods' after the bird.

LEHIGHTON, Pa. — About 108 acres of tranquil land in Lehighton has been in the Motter family for 30 years. They call it the ‘Whippoorwill Woods’ after the bird.

“At night, you can here them calling at dusk,” said Sue Motter.

A perfect escape right in their own backyard.

“As we got to know it, we want to share it with other people,” said George Motter.
