OR: Former RV park residents awarded settlement dollars

(Oct. 12, 2017) -- Former residents of a Winston recreational vehicle park were awarded an $8,500 settlement from the park after they claimed discrimination because of their child, a state agency said Tuesday.

ROSEBURG, Ore. — Former residents of a Winston recreational vehicle park were awarded an $8,500 settlement from the park after they claimed discrimination because of their child, a state agency said Tuesday.

The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries announced the settlement following an investigation into whether the River Bend RV Park, of Winston, discriminated against residents based on family status, the agency said.
