(July 30, 2018) -- Contractors will begin spraying tree trunks in efforts to prevent mortality from pine beetles, closing several campgrounds on the Emigrant Creek Ranger District for two weekdays.

JOHN DAY, Ore. — Contractors will begin spraying tree trunks in efforts to prevent mortality from pine beetles, closing several campgrounds on the Emigrant Creek Ranger District for two weekdays.

Campground closures include Joaquin Miller, Aug. 1-2; Idlewild, Aug. 2-3, and more.
