(Sept. 26, 2017) -- The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department reopened four state parks Monday in the Columbia River Gorge, as the Eagle Creek Fire winds down.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department reopened four state parks Monday in the Columbia River Gorge, as the Eagle Creek Fire winds down.

Eleven state parks remain closed, including those in the most popular areas.

The parks re-opened included Dabney State Recreation Area, Portland Women’s Forum State Scenic Viewpoint, Rooster Rock State Park and Starvation Creek State Park.
