Ontario: Campground security contracted out

(May 10, 2017) -- Owen Sound will be contracting out security functions at both the city-owned Harrison Park and Kelso Beach campgrounds for this year's camping season.

OWEN SOUND, Ontario — Owen Sound will be contracting out security functions at both the city-owned Harrison Park and Kelso Beach campgrounds for this year’s camping season.

Council voted to retain Mississauga-based Neptune Security Services, which earned the highest score among bids received following a request-for-proposals process, to do the work from May 19 to Oct. 9, primarily between the hours of 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.

The cost for the contract is $24,000.
