OH: Flood damage closes part of Wayne National Forest

(May 15, 2018) -- Wayne National Forest says its Leith Run Recreation Area campground in Washington County is closed until further notice, due to flood damage.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ohio — Wayne National Forest says its Leith Run Recreation Area campground in Washington County is closed until further notice, due to flood damage.

Recent flooding of the Ohio River caused significant damage to the electrical and waste water systems in the Leith Run Recreation Area campground, located north of Newport, Ohio.
