OH: Committee may raise fees at Clearfork Campground

(Nov. 24, 2017) -- After months of discussing what to do with the Clearfork Campground, Mansfield City Council is reviewing legislation that would raise fees in 2018.

MANSFIELD, Ohio — After months of discussing what to do with the Clearfork Campground, Mansfield City Council is reviewing legislation that would raise fees in 2018.

If passed, the proposed legislation would allow the safety service director to raise seasonal rates at the campground to $2,200 beginning in the 2018 season. With additional charges for winter storage and a floating dock, the campers’ total for the season reaches $2,740, which doesn’t include the cost of electricity.
