N.Y.: Finger Lakes National Forest institutes new fees

(July 11, 2018) -- The Finger Lakes National Forest has completed the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act process and has had its fee changes approved by the Eastern Region Recreation Resource Advisory Committee.

HECTOR, N.Y. — The Finger Lakes National Forest has completed the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act process and has had its fee changes approved by the Eastern Region Recreation Resource Advisory Committee.

There are new fees at Backbone Horse Camp and fee increases at Potomac Group Camp and Pavilion and Blueberry Patch Recreation Area.

Backbone Horse Camp and Day Use is an accessible campground with nine sites around a wooded area with a graded road for access. This site will have a “phased-in” final fee over the next two years.
