N.M.: Lincoln National Forest to lift fire restrictions

(July 11, 2018) -- The recent rainfall, lower temperatures, and increased humidity have greatly improved fuel moistures, according to forest officials. They say that makes it safe for the public to have attended campfires again.

LINCOLN CO., N.M. – The Lincoln National Forest will lift fire restrictions Wednesday morning.

Forest officials say the monsoonal moisture has reduced the fire danger level to moderate.
