MN: Vets campground get $1 million makeover

(Sept. 26, 2017) -- Over the past seven years, the Veterans Campground on Big Marine Lake in northern Washington County has undergone a $1 million makeover.

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Over the past seven years, the Veterans Campground on Big Marine Lake in northern Washington County has undergone a $1 million makeover.

On Saturday, camp officials will hold a ribbon-cutting and open house to mark the latest improvements: two bridges built by Ironworkers Local 512.

The ceremony will be at 10 a.m.; the open house will run until noon.
