MN: Tipsinah campground hires new caretaker

(April 19, 2017) -- Tipsinah Mounds Park Campground, located a few miles outside of the town of Elbow Lake, is getting ready for summer. There are sticks to pick up, logs to move, grass to mow and docks to put in the water to get ready for the opening of the grounds for the summer on May 1.

ELBOW LAKE, Minn. — Tipsinah Mounds Park Campground, located a few miles outside of the town of Elbow Lake, is getting ready for summer. There are sticks to pick up, logs to move, grass to mow and docks to put in the water to get ready for the opening of the grounds for the summer on May 1. With the changing of the seasons, the campground is seeing another change: a new caretaker.

Jeremiah Ulrich, his wife, Val, and their five children are now in the process of moving out to the lake full time after Ulrich accepted the job as campground manager in March.
