MI: Lake Macatawa Campground closed for improvements

(Jan. 31, 2018) -- Holland State Park's Lake Macatawa Campground is closed for site improvements until its anticipated reopening on May 10, according to a Michigan Department of Natural Resources news release.

HOLLAND, Mich. — Holland State Park’s Lake Macatawa Campground is closed for site improvements until its anticipated reopening on May 10, according to a Michigan Department of Natural Resources news release.

The site improvements will include repaving campground roads, parking lots and the sanitation station to better accommodate increased sizes of modern-day RVs and camping trailers.

Additionally, five new campsites and modified water spigots will be implemented to meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards, according to the DNR.
