MI: Lake Linden looks at campground signups for Fourth of July

(Sept. 25, 2017) -- Lake Linden will keep its system for allocating Fourth of July campground spots for the coming year, but will explore alternatives for 2019.

LAKE LINDEN, Mich. — Lake Linden will keep its system for allocating Fourth of July campground spots for the coming year, but will explore alternatives for 2019.

The village now allows campers to sign up for spots on a first-come, first served basis on Jan. 2. Many residents line up at the village hall early in the morning for a shot at their preferred site.
