(Dec. 7, 2018) -- The township’s zoning appeals board members scheduled a special session to learn about a proposed 210-space RV campsite at the former Keys Golf Course & Driving Range on Boos Road.

MI: Former Keys golf course could turn into RV park

HURON TWP., Mich. — Conducting a zoning meeting at a college campus isn’t par for the course in Huron Township.

But, according to officials, it’s a fair way to let everyone express their opinions before developers possibly transform an inactive golf course into a commercialized trailer park.

The township’s zoning appeals board members scheduled a special session to learn about a proposed 210-space RV campsite at the former Keys Golf Course & Driving Range on Boos Road. Officials encourage community members to attend the meeting, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 at BGSU Firelands in George Mylander Hall.
