Mexican gang member faces 8 counts of burglary

(Sept. 16, 2011) -- A gang member from Mexico faces eight counts of burglary in connection with burglaries occurring at the Orange Grove RV Park in Cameron County, Texas, since Aug. 21.

CAMERON COUNTY, Texas — A suspect who is a known gang member from Mexico faces eight counts of burglary of a habitation and 1 count of vehicle theft in connection with eight burglaries at the Orange Grove RV Park since Aug. 22, reports KGBT-TV.

The news report says the man has an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer on him because authorities report he is in the country illegally.

KGBT-TV notes it’s believed at least two other people were working with the man.
