Maine’s Megunticook to host haunted campground Oct. 25-26

(Oct. 22, 2013) -- The Chop House, Torture Chamber and the Electric Avenue Chamber are waiting for those who visit the haunted campground at Megunticook Campground in Rockport, reports PenBayPilot.com.

ROCKPORT, Maine — The Chop House, Torture Chamber and the Electric Avenue Chamber are waiting for those who visit the haunted campground at Megunticook Campground in Rockport, reports PenBayPilot.com.

“Coming up this weekend, Oct. 25 and 26, and we are having the First Annual Haunted Campground featuring haunted hayrides, a haunted village and movies. I got the idea last year when I was closing up the campground and I thought, gee, this would make a great haunted campground, especially when you’re all alone and things start to get creepy,” said campground general manager Paul Herard.

Herard also said there will be activities for kids, but the event is geared more for adults.
